wheeler walker jr: Exclusive Must-Have Best

So wheeler walker jr came on and I swear I wasn’t ready for how fast it flipped from just some guitar riff into this whole PMV thing where the edit keeps hitting on every beat and suddenly there’s all this ass shaking and big-boob shots cutting in like it’s trying to mess with your head while the song’s still grinding along. I was half-drunk on the couch, phone in one hand, and I remember thinking this is exactly the kind of messy, tattooed, over-the-top thing he does, like he knows he’s too much and just leans all the way in. The screen kept flashing between his face and bodies moving, and my chest got tight in that good way, you know, where you’re not sure if you’re watching a music video or just letting yourself get pulled into something sweatier. I didn’t move for a while. Just let the rhythm do that thing where it feels like it’s in your skin. And yeah, it was ridiculous, but the kind of ridiculous that makes you laugh and then go quiet because your body’s already answering before your brain catches up. I texted my buddy after, just: “dude, wheeler walker jr, that’s all I’m saying.” He knew exactly what I meant.
