So this kugisaki nobara cosplay thing happened last weekend and I still can’t stop thinking about it, honestly. My friend Maya—she’s the one with all the tattoos, the sleeve down her arm and that little one behind her ear—she’d been planning this for weeks, kept sending me mirror selfies of the costume progress, the orange jacket, the plaid skirt, the wig she spent way too long styling. She looked ridiculous in the best way, this anime character come to life but with her curves spilling out, and she knew it. When I got to her place she’d already set up the ring light, and we just fell into it, slow at first, her hands in my hair, the wig slipping sideways, laughing about nothing. She’d laid out toys on the nightstand, that thick fantasy one she’s obsessed with, and I watched her work herself up with it, her breath going shallow, thighs tensing, the whole room feeling too small. There was something about the costume still half-on that made it dirtier, the character and her blurring together. When she finally came she grabbed my wrist so hard it left marks, and afterward we just lay there sweaty and grinning, the ring light still humming, and she said we should film it next time. I haven’t stopped replaying it since.
